Idealyst Innovation Welcomes Aaron Plum as Summer Intern Focused on Agricultural Resilience and Innovation

Idealyst Innovation is pleased to welcome Aaron Plum as a summer intern, beginning May 5, 2025. Aaron brings a strong mix of academic focus, practical experience, and servant leadership to his work supporting American farmers and ranchers.

A native of Lebanon, Ohio, Aaron is a rising senior at The Ohio State University majoring in Agribusiness, Applied Economics, and Agronomy. He balances his academic workload with a full-time role as a student manager for the Ohio State Men’s Basketball Team, where he contributes to practice operations, film analysis, and recruiting. This hands-on role has sharpened his leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.

Aaron’s dedication to community development is rooted in his work with SALT Ministries, a charity founded by his grandfather, where he led initiatives that strengthened community ties and improved local infrastructure in underserved areas.

In his role, Aaron will support Idealyst’s mission to empower American farmers and ranchers to optimize risk. He is especially looking forward to deepening his understanding of agricultural innovation and contributing to meaningful projects that support the long-term strength and adaptability of the ag sector.

Idealyst Innovation empowers American farmers and ranchers by solving on-farm challenges and unlocking new opportunities through innovation, delivered by their most trusted partners. Their unique alliance foresees and understands risks, solves problems, and engages solutions for farmers and ranchers to survive, thrive, and endure.
